TerminAI (2024-2025)
“Investigating the potential of AI and its ability to optimise the management, coding and harmonisation of health data.”
- Innovative Business Clusters Support Programme (AEI 2024)
- File No.: AEI-010500-2024-64
- Project financed by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism and the European Union with Next Generation funds.
The research in the framework of the TerminAI project focuses on the creation of a health data space that provides a comprehensive view of patients’ health. There is currently no solution like the one described above, so a research process is needed at both the legal and technical level in order to develop a complete and accessible data space that complies with data protection regulations, moving from a disaggregated model of clinical information in different entities to a complete repository of information.
This space will provide critical information for medical research, healthcare management and clinical decision-making. It aims to reduce errors, streamline processes and improve efficiency in healthcare.
The project includes a phase of validation of the results of the research process.
Specifically, NorayBio, as a company focused on offering data management solutions specialised in the area of biological sample management and biobank management, seeks to explore new solutions that help to address the multiple technological and resource barriers that the sector suffers from. In this regard, data coding and standardisation have become a priority, due to the growing interest at national and European level in this issue. At the same time, it seeks to extend its knowledge and experience in data spaces, another of its priorities as a provider of healthcare data management solutions.
