NorayBio leads a technological project for the development of new tools for biobanks as SNOMED CT and Big Data Analytics

The Basque Government, through its Hazitek program to support business R&D, awards NorayBio the project ” New tools for semantic interoperability and data analytics in biobanks ” for its innovative character and high level of technological knowledge.

The project consists of developing new tools for biobanks that allow data harmonization and interoperability with other biobanks, health systems and researchers, that code clinical texts in a more automated way ( SNOMED CT standard), and that provide Big Data Analytics capabilities .

This project, led by NorayBio, has the participation of the prominent Ibermatic Innovation Institute – i3B, which has extensive experience in the development of projects in the healthcare field.
