NorayBanks takes part in the X National Biobanking Congress
Valencia hosted the tenth edition of the National Biobanking Congress from the 17th to the 18th of November, organised by the National Biobanking Network of the Carlos III Health Institute and the Valencian Biobank Network.
The congress gathered around 250 people from different fields such as biobanks, research, health, Ethics Committees, Big Data experts and other companies of the sector.
In this tenth edition, the main topics discussed at the congress have dealt with data quality, access to medical records, the relationship between donors and information, the role of scientific committees and networking. In addition, the poster presentation session made possible to publicise the projects in which the different national biobanks are working.
Our participation with NorayBanks at the congress has focused on the new projects in which we are participating through different collaborations: Interoperability, Security and Exploitation. We had the opportunity to talk to the scientific and biotechnology community attending the congress, and we have shared ideas and knowledge about bioinformatics in the management of biological samples.
The next edition of the National Biobank Congress, the 11th, will be held in Santander, where our NorayBanks team will take part again showing the new projects to offer a software solution for the management of biological samples and their associated data adapted to the demand of the sector.X Congreso Nacional de Biobancos
