First meeting of the year at AFSTAL ComTech 2020

The year 2020 starts with the celebration of the first academic meeting of the sector, AFSTAL ComTech 2020. The “Association Française des Sciences et Techniques de l’Animal de Laboratoire”, AFSTAL, organised its 18th edition of ComTech, that took place the last 30th of January in Paris, gathering about 550 attendees.

At ComTech, professionals from the laboratory animal research sector gathered to discuss, in this occasion, the purpose and mechanisms of animal reproduction, focused on the sustainability of species and lines. Topics such as endocrinology, genetics and assisted reproduction were covered, and their future advancements discussed thanks to the knowledge that has been shared.

AFSTAL ComTech is not just a scientific congress but also a social meeting that brings together colleagues from the sector, encouraging the networking among the visitors.

For the AniBio Team, this symposium represents the first stopover on our long congress calendar. As on every occasion, we attended to get to know the new trends, interests and needs of the sector. We also introduced to the community the latest release of AniBio, our software for the management of animal facilities.
